Lion in Lamb T-Shirts

The Lion and the Lamb is such a deep figurative symbol of our King Jesus.  Like a lamb, He was led to the cross (His ALTAR) where He would be the sacrifice that paid the price for all sin.  What we don't think of is that, while He went to the cross a lamb, He arose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit and was made forever KING of all KINGS.  He will never be a lamb again!  He was sacrificed ONCE for ALL!  Now He has made a way for us to come to the altar and be crucified WITH Him.  In Galatians 2:20 it says that we have been crucified WITH Christ and it is no longer we who live, but Christ who lives IN us.  That same Holy Spirit that resurrected Jesus from the dead, is the same Spirit that raises us from the dead and takes up residence IN us.  If we learn to ABIDE IN HIM, then we can hear His voice, follow Him, and He will work in us to both WILL and DO of His Good Pleasure.  That is pretty amazing.  Our responsibility isn't to figure out "What Would Jesus Do" and try to live up to that guess. It is to submit to Him fully, put our faith in HIS Righteousness IN us, and allow Him the freedom to work through us...in His time...for His purpose...no matter what it looks like.  If that is your heart, then you can say you are "ALTARed" and have partaken in everything the altar has to offer.  Salvation through Jesus and empowerment through the Holy Spirit who now inhabits your body.  You are no longer a "layman" obeying the law, you are Kings and Priests and ONE with the God of ALL!

Father, thank you for my brothers and sisters who are a part of our Kingdom family.  I pray that they will realize the depths of what happened at the cross and that they have stepped out of their old future and put themselves in a position to have their identity ALTARed by you.  I pray that the Holy Spirit would become more prevalent in their lives and that His voice would become clearer as they seek YOU and YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS in them.  Take away the burden of trying to be a lamb, when you have taken them from sacrifice to ruling and reigning through the power of the Holy Spirit.  Like Simba in The Lion King, let them KNOW WHO THEY ARE and stop trying to be something they think they are or something they think they should be.  They ARE who they are because YOU are WHO YOU ARE IN THEM!  Bless their families, their jobs, and those that you send them to minister to.  Let them know that they are ministers if they carry your Spirit.  Bring them closer to You each day. In Jesus mighty name. AMEN!
